Anjanette Riley coordinates communication for the UAS Test Site to raise public awareness of test site activities and advances in UAS technology. From her office in College Park, she also serves as the media contact for the test site, providing visual and informational resources for local, regional, and national media outlets.
Prior to joining the University of Maryland A. James Clark School of Engineering, Anjanette oversaw the science communication efforts for the Illinois Water Resources Center and Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant. Her work as a science writer and health care reporter has led to several APEX Awards for Publication Excellence as well as recognitions from the National Newspaper Association.
Anjanette holds B.A. degrees in English and political science from Arizona State University and an M.A. in English studies from Illinois State University.
